This home has two master suites with king beds and en-suite bathrooms with oversized showers; The third bedroom also has a king bed and the fourth has a queen bed, a single and a sleeper sofa- perfect for a young family who want to stay together or have all the kids have BHI sleepover time. You will love the great porches - front and a screened-back porch side give you wonderful outdoor living space - the "southern hospitality" front open porch to sit and enjoy morning coffee or afternoon cocktails.

After a day at the beach or pool it is a refreshing treat to wander down the tree lined street and enjoy the peace and serenity of the maritime forest. Continue the refresh experience with an outdoor shower with the live oaks and birdsongs overhead. The children will love the front and side open areas for play time.

Very close to everything - the BHI club, restaurants, shops and the marina. A very short cart ride in the new golf carts get you to the new BHI Club Aquatic Center which features 4 new tennis courts, a playground, short-grass recreational area, workout facility, multiple swimming pools and water slide, croquet course, new pickleball all courts, casual and fine dining and, of course, the George Cobb designed, award winning 18-hole golf course.

Bald Head Island is only accessible by boat or by a ferry, which departs frequently out of Southport, NC. Southport is 40 minutes from the Wilmington, NC (ILM) airport. A tram ride to the home is included with your ferry ticket. Reservations are required. Visitors and residents travel around the island by golf cart, bike or by foot.

An upscale grocery market, spa, and shopping area is a short golf cart ride away. Discover the Bald Head Island Conservancy at the end of South Beach, where you can learn about the island's wildlife. Climb to the top of “Old Baldy,” which is the oldest lighthouse on the East coast. You will fall in love with the serenity of the island and this home and come back often.

With no cars and no crowds, Bald Head Island preserves the natural beauty and stress-free lifestyle of a simpler time. The island is blessed with 14 miles of pristine beaches, thousands of acres of protected salt marshes, and a spectacular expanse of maritime forest.
